Module 1: Introduction to ISO 45001:2018

    • Evolution of OH&S management standards (OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001)

    • Relationship with other management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
  • Purpose & Scope of ISO 45001
    • Definitions: Occupational health and safety, risk, and hazard
    • Structure of the standard (Annex SL framework)

Module 2: Key Requirements of ISO 45001: Context and Leadership (Clauses 4 & 5) (1.5 hours)

    • Identifying internal and external issues relevant to OH&S
    • Determining the scope of the OH&S management system (OHSMS)
    • Understanding interested parties and their needs
  • Leadership and Worker Participation (Clause 5)
